Eating Disorders Awareness Week!
February 1st-7th is a Provincial Eating Disorders Awareness campaign aimed at increasing awareness of eating disorders while also encouraging prevention and early intervention. In addition, this campaign aims to increase media literacy, resiliency, positive body image, and self-esteem.
The official colour of Eating Disorders Awareness week is purple, and you may notice during this week that many of our local landmarks, listed below, will be lit up in this colour:
